Maloto is an American friends organization that raises funds to feed, educate, and empower women and children in Malawi.
Through a thriving community center, they offer a broad range of social, educational, and economic programs. Such as the northern region’s first internationally accredited primary and secondary school (with almost 400 students), and the first women-owned food processing cooperative, Kwithu Kitchen (now the country’s largest honey processor and supplier).

Maloto hoped to make an overseas community and organization visually flourish to engender the support of an American audience. With a wealth of images, Wingo created a suite of materials that showcased Maloto’s programs, people, and needs for many Americans who likely couldn’t point to Malawi on a map.
