Friends of the Children–New York is the only youth mentoring organization that employs salaried, professional mentors called Friends (Yes - this is their full-time job!). They select children facing multiple systemic obstacles from Harlem and the South Bronx and commit to working with those children from kindergarten to graduation. 12+ years, no matter what.
 
Wingo has worked with Friends–New York for over 6 years executing their gala from soup to nuts, including creating new branding each year as the event evolves and grows. Their gala is now attended by over 600 guests and raises over $1.5 million.
